Weighted templates, versioned
Categories carry a weight and a deadline. Items are scored 0 to 5, yes or no, or as a number inside a valid range, and each item carries a compliance rule so a bad answer flags itself; categories carry pass, warn and fail thresholds. Mark an item photo-required, legally binding or a heavy penalty. Templates are versioned, so a past event still shows the questions it was asked.
Audits on phones, offline if it comes to it
The audit portal in the Guest It app. Scan the outlet's QR code and the right audit opens. Answers, photos and comments are stored on the phone and show a sync status; when the signal comes back they upload. A dead spot under a grandstand does not stop the audit.
Assignments per auditor, per outlet, per day
Each auditor gets their outlets for each day of the event, and the list is built the moment the assignments are saved and refreshed overnight, so the app has it before the gates open. Several auditing organisations can work one event through the same portal, each seeing their own assignments, on a shared template or their own.

Build and weight the template
Categories, weights, deadlines, thresholds, and which items need a photo. Save a version and that is what the event is audited against.

Assign the auditors
Each auditor is given their outlets for each day. The list is built as assignments are saved and refreshed overnight, so the app already has the day's outlets when the gates open.

Scan the outlet's QR code, answer the items, take the photos, add a comment where something needs one. Offline if the signal drops; it syncs later.

Scores roll up as audits land
Completion and score per outlet, rolled up by area, on the KPI page as each audit is submitted. The ops room sees the morning's results while the day is still running.

Chase the fails
Anything under the fail threshold is flagged, with the photo and the comment next to it. The area manager has what they need to go back to that outlet the same afternoon.
