999 for police, fire or ambulance. 111 for urgent medical advice. The nearest A&E is Scarborough Hospital (45 minutes); the minor injuries unit at Whitby Hospital is five minutes away and open 8am–10pm.
Water, power, gas
- Stopcock: under the kitchen sink, red handle.
- Fuse box: inside the cupboard under the stairs, top left.
- Gas: the meter and isolation valve are in the yard store.
